Featured images, also known as post thumbnails are a great tool for WordPress posts to have a wonderful display. These featured images are the primary image for a blog post that appears next to the heading on your homepage and social media. To add a featured image, you would want to go into the post's document options and when you scroll down there should be a section called featured image where you should be able to upload a new image or select an image that was already uploaded to your WordPress site. You would want to ensure your images are the same size to keep your images the same on the blog page.
